Almost every married couple must have pondered hard to decide what type of flower suited their wedding. They have to consider the colors to blend with the motif. This is a very tedious work especially for the bride since she will be holding a bouquet while walking down the aisle. They might even have had an argument in front of a florist when their opinions don’t agree. Nevertheless, the time spent driving to the shop to decide and end up arguing is a time wasted.
But who would have thought that something as delicate as flowers can also be sold online?
Nowadays, time is money--or gold even. I’ve saved precious time whenever I go online to buy flowers and have it delivered on a convenient date. My wedding would have been a disaster if we didn’t buy the flowers online. I even tracked the delivery van using the websites tracking system to make sure they arrive on time. I didn’t have to call someone to check on the estimated time of arrival. While we waited for the flowers to arrive we spent our time straightening the details of the wedding.
On wedding anniversaries I order my flowers for my wife in advance and have it sent to the restaurant where we will dine. I do this without stepping out of my office to go to the nearest flower shop, which is four blocks away.
Even sending flowers abroad has never been easier. Since my parents live overseas I surprise them with a bouquet of tulips that’s been delivered door-to-door for their wedding anniversary.
It is clear that the dawn of the internet made all of this possible. With the lifestyles we all live in, the time we save is priceless. In the end time is money and if you can save on time sending flowers to India or anywhere around the world then you'll be saving money in your pockets!
